goodbye scholarship

Me and my friends were about to go home when Emilette asked us to accompany her to the School of Nursing. She asked for details and procedures regarding the partial scholarship stuff. That reminded me that I also have the chance to become a partial scholar since my GWA reached the required grade of 1.5. The secretary from the SoN told us to visit the Guidance office regarding this matter, and so we did. The Guidance Counsellor had enumerated us the requirements that has to be passed and how our grades are computed. And from there, we found out that we no longer qualify for the scholarship grant. There had been some sort of misinterpretation regarding the grades. In my report card, my GWA is 1.49. That's the average of all the subjects i took including NSTP and PE. the mistake here is that when applying for scholarship, NSTP and PE grades are excluded in the calculations. if i exclude the two, my GWA turns to 1.57, which therefore disqualifies me. Same happened to Emilette who is a bit more closer to the required grade. Her actual GWA is 1.41 (if im not mistaken). if NSTP and PE are excluded, her average turns to 1.52. *sighs*

we were sooo excited before about being scholars and such. we even announced it to our parents and friends. but now, here we are, depressed and disappointed. *sigh* oh well, look on the brighter side, there's still a next semester. unfortunately, anatomy brings us into deep pessimism.

i leave myself with this question:
"If depression takes place, what will you do Diane?" *yikes*

On 10:45 PM, diane let go.
